Oh, happy day!
I really didn’t think I’d get to see Ben Folds Five play together again, so I’ll be hitting the ETix website as hard as I can to try and get tickets for this show.
It can be a celebration gift for my new job. Yup, a job. With a company. As an employee.
The freelance gig has been keeping me busy-really busy in fact-but an opportunity came my way that I would have been stupid to turn down, so starting in a week or two I’ll be a sysadmin again, for a publicly-traded software firm no less.
All that stuff I spent so long trying to forget I now have to relearn all over again. Whoops.
I’m looking forward to it a whole lot though, I have to admit, and not just because it gives me an excuse to buy a Vespa and a Cervélo RS to make the 10 mile commute a little bit more fun…
hoorah!!! havent seen bff together in … oh… 10 years? i shall (hopefully) be there. i hope they dont do that bullshit where they open tickets up to UNC students first and sell out immediately. yay!!!!!!!!!
also, congrats on teh job. i dont see you riding your bike to regency park though… thats a hell of a trek on a really dumb road (tryon)
