I’m so excited about the World Cup that I’m even enjoying football songs. In my defence I am a sucker for a ukelele, but still, kinda embarrassed. At least it’s better than that fucking Vindaloo song from a few years ago.

I’m not one to get all jingoistic about my national identity, not least of all because I’m Welsh and not English, but I am looking forward to seeing how England get on this year.

Here’s to not going out on penalties in the semi’s this time around, eh?
