Happy holidays, y'all

Posted: Dec 22, 2007

Alright!

Just a quickie to wish you happy holidays and all that guff. Hope it’s a great one, hope Santa brings you something nice if you’re into that sort of thing, and I hope to see you again sometime soon.

Normal service round these parts will resume in 2008 and not a moment before. I’m knackered and I need a long overdue rest.

This year has been an absolute killer for me: I left my job and went freelance full time, I moved 4000 miles to the USA, I re-launched this here weblog thing, visited San Francisco and my wonderful friends there, I got married, I adopted a funny looking kid, I worked my ass off, started practising Bikram yoga, and somewhere in the middle of that lot (and mostly because of it all) I had the best year I’ve had in a very, very, very long time.

Nicely done, Joshua. Here’s to more of the same in 2008, if you please. Now, off to hang out with friends, with family, with dogs, and with a bunch of bourbon.

Remember kids: be excellent to each other. Party on.

Congratulations Naomi and Deane!

Posted: Dec 09, 2007

Today my good friend Naomi gave birth to a healthy, as yet unnamed baby boy. Congratulations to Naomi and Deane, I’m sending all three of you all the best wishes in the world.

I hear Joshua’s a pretty good name for the kids these days. You know, just sayin’.
