CBS Acquires Last.fm for $280 Million?

Totally amazed that, if the rumours are true, it’s CBS that managed to snag Last.fm but good on the guys over in London for finally getting the payback they deserve for creating one of my favourite pieces of the internet.

Bit late to the party with this one, given the last few weeks involved a trip to California, my wedding and the post-ceremony mayhem that goes along with that.

John Nunemaker has released his wonderful scrobbler gem for accessing data from Last.fmScrobbler: Last.fm for Ruby.

Expect to see it incorporated here sometime shortly.
