…at Penland with their swanky new letterpress studio.

Penland School of Crafts has upcoming residency opportunities in print and letterpress. These residencies are designed for four to eight artists (depending on the length of stay) who would like to work with a master printmaker or letterpress printer for either two weeks or one month.

I’m ridiculously happy about finding out about this. I’m definitely going to apply, so if I get a place you’ll get to hear all about it.

Awesome video on the wonderful letterpress work done by Firefly Press.

The next time I get any business cards made up they’re going to be done using letterpress. Anyone out there know of any good local to North Carolina shops they want to tell me about?
