WWDC Keynote

Posted: Jun 11, 2007

Steve’s Keynote at this years WWDC may have left me a little less enthused than I’d hoped (I know, I know – they could have promised me a Unicorn and after the iPhone announcement at MacWorld it would have still felt a little flat) but I’m loving the look of Leopard. October can’t come around fast enough.

I installed the Safari for Windows beta on The Wife’s laptop and they weren’t kidding about the speed. By god the thing is fast. Nice to finally see a decent looking web browser on Windows too. Firefox might be a great browser but, Mr Hicks’ logo aside, good looking it ain’t.

Great job on the redesigned apple.com too, very slick.

I network socially at Virb, I keep track of the music I listen to using Last.fm, I post the pictures I take to Flickr, I list things I watch and read with All Consuming, I have a to-do list of sorts on 43things, and I post interesting things I come across on the interweb to del.icio.us.

Best enjoyed with Safari, a Makers on the rocks, and Willie Nelson on the 8-track, yessir.
